Mr. Kennedy I hope you see this.

Wow...that's disappointing...I love my Strats but with all the complaints about the G-DEC I guess I'll be buying a Roland Cube or Line 6 Spider.

This is only a handful of complaints. What about the thousands of satisfied G_DEC owners that haven't posted on here about thier positive experience? I, for one, am very happy with my G_DEC. And it has way more features than a Cube or Spider.

Can someone post the procedure for using this MIDI/USB interface to upgrade the original G-Dec? I have spent a few days and finally found this forum, and would like to update mine.

What is the issue with the wheel? Mine skips some selections and jumps around, I thought it was a dirty potentiometer or contacts. Is there any kind of Fender support on this? I'll ship it for the fix if needed.

Please, I am not asking for an extended rant, just the summary and solution to these problems.

Thanks

This is ridiculous! I have tried for hours to contact their Az tech support phone number only to have a recording tell all circuits are busy? I don't need an email answer I need some serious technical information only they can tell me. Like which type of 6l6 my amp was setup with biased at a cold 21mv? Of the three types only the original 6l6 not the GC or wxx= whatever versions biases low. I have a pair of Sovtek 6L6WXT+ and my plate voltage is supposed to be 478. More like 475 so my optimal bias point is 33mv or so. Why would they us 21mv? The amp sounded good enough to get me to buy it and even better with a set of killer chinese big bottles running at 33mv. I need to understand why my amp shipped biased at 21mv. Anyone? Fender certainly isn't going to help me today :( Get on it Fender

Wow! A G-DEC with tubes? That must be an old-timer!

Mine are all solid-state.
