I just bought this and the Fender Fuse seems awesome. I can change and create a new Preset, but I can't save my settings or over-ride a preset using Fuse. Every time I try to change I get an error message that says there is an unknown error in communicating with the devise please reboot and Fuse either shuts down or locks up my machine. I am able to save the settings on my amp, but I am not able to save the Fuse changes made to the Preset. It does have a green light on the "Connected to G-Dec" and there is a login option at the bottom of Fuse but I can't log in.
I am using Windows 7 and on the Compatibility tab under Compatibility Mode there is a checkbox which allows users to run the program in compatibility mode for Vista and XP SP2 & SP3 but not an option for Win7. My question is, “Has anyone else had this problem?”
Solution:
I am certain that I'm not the only one. However, once I registered and Downloaded the most current software the problem seems to be resolved.
Thank you.

Hello srsand1960@yahoo.com,.

Welcome to the Fender forums. I'm not sure if I completely understand. Are you saying that you are no longer experiencing a problem since you updated to the latest version of Fender FUSE?

Make sure that you have turned off the protect mode in the utility menu before you try saving presets. I ran into that issue when I first got my gdec3. The amp comes from the factory with the presets protected. My guess is to keep them from getting messed up when the amp is sitting in a music store :-)

Good luck,

Dave

That's correct Dave. Thanks for the answers. srsand1960, is everything working properly now?
