I've got the new digital G-Dec 15 (NOT THE 30!). In the back, there is an input for a footswitch ... yet as I surf, I find no switch for the 15. There is a Fender 4 button switch for the GDEC-30. Also on Amazon, when you see folks have bought a "15" it usually says they "also bought" the 4 button footswitch.

1. Will the 4 button footswitch work on the 15?

2. If not, then what plugs into the footswitch input on the back of the 15?

Thank You

Yes, the ULT-4 footswitch works for the G-DEC 3 Fifteen as well as the Thirty.

Thank you ... when you look at YouTube the guy there only talks about the "30" ... also, on Amazon, when you try to read about the foot switch, it only discusses the 30. Just thought you'd like to know where my "confusion" was coming from ... thanks again for the info, I've ordered the unit.

Hey JDLinn,

The material on Amazon is most likely referring to the G-DEC 30, which was released in 2007 and was the first model compatible with the ULT-4 footswitch. The footswitch is also compatible with the new G-DEC 3 Fifteen and Thirty models. It was not compatible with the original G-DEC which was 15 watts. I hope that helps.

The tuner feature of the foot switch is worth the price! It uses the LEDs as tuner lights.
