My ULT-4 has been fine since 3/13/2010. A week ago, no lights, nothing, dead.
I don't have another compatible amp, so I'm not 100% sure it is the foot switch, but the amp seems fine in every other way.
The service center says bring both in.
I am getting 1.2 V between tip and ring on the foot swtich cable from the GDEC 3-30.

That could be your problem. Mine is outputting 3.3 VDC. Hope this helps....

Hey JonW,

I'm sorry for the delay. Please standby. I'm investigating the proper voltage for the footswitch.

I had the same thing happen. On two occasions the footswitch went blank on start up. I unplugged the switch from the back of the amp and plugged it back in and it started working. I do not know if this will work for you, but it did for me. I am still trying to figure out why it did this.

The voltage that the amp puts out to the footswitch is indeed 3.3v. It seems there may be an issue with your amp. How long ago did you purchase the amp? Have you tried another cable?
