Dose anyone know of an easy way to move preset locations. Example, say I want to move my preset # 1 to preset location # 10. The way I have been doing it is to edit the preset in Fuse and save it to the location I want, but this ovewrites the preset location you send it you so i have to copy that preset before i do this and then ,move that copy to another location but of course this overwrites that location so i have to copy that one also and so on and so on....

There has to be an easier way.
Why cant we just drag and drop the preset locations in Fuse to the location number we want?

Hello Jij4,

Welcome to the Fender forums. I know that it can be time consuming getting your amp set up just the way you want it. One of the best things about the amp is its flexibility.
You may want to try the backup and restore functionality in Fender FUSE. This allows you to backup your amp's contents to your computer, in order to be restored at a later date. That way you wouldn't be losing any Presets. You can choose to backup all Presets or just one at a time. Also, the factory Presets are available on the Fender FUSE Community and on the G-DEC 3 DVD so they are always there in case you overwrite one on the amp. I hope that helps.

Loren,

I agree the G-DEC I very flexible but the FUSE software dose not allow the user the necessary functionality to utilize it's flexibility.

There is no reason why it should take hours to reorganize the presets when they are basically nothing more than txt files. The Fuse software needs to improve its file handling functionality. It should work like any other file utility and give us the ability to simply drag and drop files (presets) from location to location (slot to slot), re-arrange them anyway we want, and re-order them by music type, alphabeticaly or genre. This would make things so much easier for every G-DEC owner and should not be difficult to program into Fuse.

I'm really enjoying my G-DEC it's super cool but.....Please focus on improving Fuse's functionality in future updates.

Thanks!
