I sold my G-DEC 15 when I upgraded to a new G-DEC 3/30 and miss some of the straight forward drum/bass loops from my last version G-DEC.

I found in the FAQ the MIDI files from the G-DEC/30. Can I import those into my G-DEC 3 to get back some of the old loops & presets that I was used to playing with?

I have not dug much into the FUSE or ableton software ('cause I'm not that great with computer software:). Is that the best way to set up some simple drum and bass loops without any guitar background?

Thanks

Hey Rickenvoxster,

Welcome to the G-DEC 3 forum. You can import the MIDI files to your amp by either copying the files to the MIDI folder on your G-DEC 3 SD card or copying them to the G-DEC 3 memory using USB Drive Mode. To put the amp in USB Drive Mode just hold the EXIT button for a few seconds to access the Utility menu. Then page forward to the USB Drive screen. Press one of the center soft keys to put the amp in USB Drive Mode. Your G-DEC 3 memory will appear in My Computer (Windows) or on your desktop (Mac) as a removable drive. I hope that helps.
