I'm running mac os x 10.6.4, i can' seem to get fuse to install. I install microsoft silverlight, and then mono framework. but when it gets to the fuse install, when it is just about done, it says that there is an error in installation and to contact the manufacturer. How can i fix this?

i also have a question about drum loops. Is there a way i can isolate the drums on the backing tracks? so it is just the drums and nothing else?

also is it possible to record myself playing chords over a drum loop, and have the chords loop as well?

Hi rich2k4,

Welcome to the G-Dec forum. I'm not sure why Fender FUSE won't install on your system. There is an incompatibility with 10.6.4 currently but the software should still install and open. The main incompatibilities involve the menu bar and some dialog windows. Your issue sounds like it could be due to an incomplete download of the installer.I suggest downloading and running the entire installer again. No need to delete or uninstall anything. Let me know if that helps.

My apologies. It sounds like you would like to use MIDI loops instead of the audio Band Tracks that are pre-loaded on the amp. MIDI files are the only way you would be able to solo or isolate individual instruments. The G-DEC 30 MIDI loops can be found here:

As far as the Phrase sampler goes, of course you can record yourself playing along with Band Tracks. This is where the foot switch really comes in handy by allowing you to trigger recording right on the downbeat of a Band Track for seamless looping.
