Hi Loren,

Thanks for the response. Does this mean we (the customers) should expect some firmware updates for the G-DEC 3 that fix, improve and add new functionality to the amp :D Same for FUSE?

David.

Be nice if the line level from USB interface when recording with Live was anyway near loud enough.

You can definitely expect more firmware updates. We are constantly working on ways to make the amp and software better and more user friendly. Some of these suggestions will find their way into future versions of software and firmware.

Hi as a new owner of a GDEC 3 30 amp, I agree with all the listed items to improve this already awesome model. I would like to add my request ot improve the transferring of preset files to the SD card from within FUSE.
It is slow and tedious when you want to transfer a bunch of presets over to the SD card from FUSE. You have to right click on a single preset file and choose "transfer to SD card" selection. Then it disconnects the amp USB connection, reconnects to SD card to transfer a single file, then it disconnects again from the SD card and then it reconnects to the amp again and then it takes more time to sync up and finally connect to the amp. That's just for one file transfer. We have to put up with this slow and kludgy process everytime to transfer each preset to the SD card from FUSE? Please find a way to fix this so that it does not go through all that disconnecting and reconnecting. It must play havoc with the computer OS and hardware too doing all those constant USB reconnections. Knowing how Windows behaves, It will be prone to cause some computers OS to hang and freeze things up. Maybe a two channel USB hub buit into the GDEC 3 would allow you to have both the amp and SD card connected at the sme time (but that's a hardware change). Hope you can figure out a better way to do it in software Fender! Thanks for listening.

I am currently trying to to learn specific sections of a solo. I wish there was a "pause" capability so I don't have to start over and listen to an entire passge to get back to where I left off.

Hey smokinfingers

Here's my workaround. I just take out the sd card, use a card reader on the laptop, then just copy and paste to the sd card in the appropriate folder, then insert it back on the amp. Way faster that way. If I try thru Fuse, it just sits there "updating" and I wind up just re-booting the amp anyway.

Hi Joe, yes, I am aware of doing it that way. But I mention the issue with doing the file transfering issue with FUSE so that Fender engineers/software developers can fix the annoying behavour of their interface. I would really like to be able to just perform all the functions of the GDEC-3 amp while the thing is plugged in and connected to my computer and not have to remove the SD card from the amp and plug it in separately to transfer files, and then reset and plug it back into the amp all the time. Fender still should work on improving the file transfers function of FUSE.

Hi smokinfingers, I agree 100%. The workaround gets me up and running vs being frustrated while we wait on updated software.

I am very happy to see that there is a new firmware update released (1.04). However, I am disappointed that most of the usability requests did not make into this update. One of particular interest to me lately, A/B Looping. Getting very tired of having to replay an entire song to try and figure out one 5 second lick

I'm disappointed in the 1.04 firmware upgrade as well; the Fuse upgrade addressed some concerns and needs; the hardware upgrade didn't seem to do much from a user perspective. Let's hope it was a stopgap to a more useful version.

It'd be nice if the footswich Quick Access Presets could relate to settings for each backing track rather than only having 3 "fixed" presets

15. For long filenames, let the text scroll sidewards so you can read the full text. Do this a few times then let the scrolling stop.

So, the suggestions are a few month old now.
Any news from Fender about it would be really nice.

Hi Fender, can we have a foot pedal controled wah wah control in the next GDEC model(s) please. In the higher end Cyber Twin SE that I bought (but had to return) I liked the fact that you can plug in the MIDI Cyber foot controller that had two assignable foor pedals. You could control and perform your wah wah effects with it like a real separate wah wah pedal.
This MIDI control feature of course is gone from the new GDEC series, but can it be implemented somehow without the MIDI logic. (The Cyber Twin also had an analog foot pedal extension output to control wah tones but not as good as the MIDI implementation one). So you can add that back to the next GDEC model(s). Thank You!
