I am having problems with downloading presets to an SD card from the Fuse community. I get tons of "invalid file" messages. I have watched the video, reviewed manuals - the results of which is just even more confusion. I have no idea what I am doing wrong. If anyone may be able to break this process down to simple steps or has an idea of what I am doing wrong, your help would be much appreciated.

I have the same issue - just started playing with downloads last night, and while they seem to download fine, the g-dec says "invalid file format" under each of the presets. I'm using a Mac with OS X 10.6 if that means anything. Can somebody at Fender help us out?

Chris

Hi guys,

I apologize for the delay in response. I would suggest sending presets to your SD card using Fender FUSE instead of drag and drop copying them. There are some presets that contain XML info that can't be read by the amp, causing it to display "invalid file". Transferring these presets using FUSE will save them as a format the amp can read. If you have any further issues let me know.

Let me apologize in advance for my ignorance, but how do I use FUSE to copy the presets to my SD card? Thanks!

Don't apologize. In the Media Library, just right-click on whatever Presets you want to send to the amp and click "Send Preset To Amp". FUSE will disconnect and reconnect again.

Dear Loren
I try to tranfert preset from Fuse to SD card in the amp but the Amp seems to "freeze". The message "Updating file please wait" stay on the LCD's G-DEC for a long time, wait during 1 hour and the only solution is to power down the amp. I update the firmware of the Amp

Thanks for you help

I'm sorry for the delay guys. We are currently testing this feature. We have been able to reproduce the issue in a few cases. I'll chime in soon to let you know what we find.
