For those interested, tonight I will be posting a new version of the "Tips Guide" on mygdec.com. I've had oppertunities to play with all the available models. The new guide is updated with information particular to the Jr, and the -30 in addition to correcting spelling and some rewording for clarity. Also, many questions posted on one of the 4 threads I follow, are now answered in the new guide.

Enjoy

Merry Christmas
Robert

Have fun.

Part of the fun is discovering these things as you explore the amp.

Press the amp button. I would try Dyna-touch 3 or 4 or one of the moderns. For now skip the gain and volume. Set the tone controls: bass to 9 or 10, mid to 3ish and treble between 7 and 9. Timber I would set to razors edge for more of a scooped sound although full body may work for a darker sound.

I would turn the effects and reverb to none.

Then start playing. Go back to the Amp menus and set the gain and volume to taste. Make minor changes to the tone controls.

I would add a delay and leave the reverb to none.

At this point experiment to find some ideal colors for your tone and your style.

Do you have "Tips Guide" for the B-DEC?
