Hello,

I have a Fender g-dec 3 thirty since two weeks now and it is realy a fun amp. I like it a lot!

So I bought myself a SD card, 8 GB by SanDisk to have my personal presets and play directly with them from a SD card.

And this is my little problem, it doesn't read my SD card with Quick Access.

Wat the amp does well:
- it allows me to import and export presets through the utility functionality
- With Fuse I am able to play directly from my SD card stuck in the amp.

But it doesn't show me my SD card content when I multiple press the Quick Access button on the amp.

My questions are:
- Should I be able to access the SD card directly from Quick Access?
- And if so, could it be my SD card? It is a 8 GB SDHC card.

Much obliged,
Roel Dormits

Hi Roel,

The SD card will show all audio files on both the amp's hard drive and the SD card itself in Quick Access mode. From there you can play any of these audio files as well. Quick Access mode will not show your Presets. To see/import Presets from your SD card on the amp, you would need to go to the Utility menu.

You can do this by pressing and holding the Exit button on your Fender G-DEC 3. Here you will arrow right four times (fourth soft key). The display will say "Turn knob to import". Turn the encoder (silver knob), and select the Preset you would like to import. Once you have done this, press the Save button, and you will have your new Preset saved over your original Preset. You will be overwriting the Preset that was there before. So, be sure to back up if you would like to save the old Preset. You can back up all Presets by going to the Utility menu and arrowing right five times.

I hope this information is helpful.
