Other than the info on the DVD that came with the amp, this is the sum total of Fender documentation on recording into Ableton. Please tell me there is more I just haven't found.

Article ID: KB00033 - Last Review: April 09, 2010 Using the Fender® G-DEC® 3 as an audio interface for Ableton Live Lite 8 Fender EditionView products this article applies to.

Problem Description
I would like to use my Fender G-DEC 3 amplifier as a USB audio interface for my DAW. Back to topSolution
PC:

The Fender G-DEC 3 can be used as a bi-directional USB audio interface with Ableton Live Lite 8 Fender Edition on any computer that is running Windows XP Service Pack 3 or later with the latest version of the Fender ASIO driver installed.

1.In Live Lite, click Options, then click Preferences, then click Audio.
2.Under Driver Type, select ASIO (If you do not see ASIO as an option, the driver may not be installed).
3.Under Audio Device, select Fender Universal ASIO.
4.Once this is set, you’re all done. Record-enable an audio track you’re ready to play

Hey Guys,

We have information on our site pertaining to getting the G-DEC 3 up and running with Ableton Live Lite 8. This is one of the deepest DAW's available and no one can provide support for it better than Ableton. They have a great support section for it.

Hi Loren,

Perhaps I missed some of your info on using Ableton other than what the DVD offers and the info I published in an earlier post. I have also been on the ableton site. I'm not doubting that the setup works, it's just that i must be missing a step.
thx
