I just purchased a new g dec 30 and have copied my backing tracks onto a sd card ( 4 GB) and am unable to play all songs (approx 12) on the card as the amp has only downloaded 5 songs into memory how do I get it to read all songs on the card ?? All help appreciated obviously I am doing something wrong.

PeterMc:

I don't know if this will help but check to make sure that all of the files are in MP3 format. The first time that I moved files over manually instead of using FUSE the files would not show up because I had saved them in the wrong file format using Itunes.

Also if you can, check to make sure that the SD card is formatted for Fat32. I have the G-Dec 3 - 30 watt and I know that it will format an SD card utilizing the utility menu.

I formatted the card in the G-Dec 3-30 before transferring files across, all files are MP3 format still not doing what it should. Thanks for the info guess I will keep trying, maybe might get some other info soon.

Welcome PeterMc. Did you copy the MP3 files into the audio folder on the SD card or just to the root of the card? All audio files must be in the audio folder of the card for them to be recognized. Also, the amp will accept WAV files in addition to MP3's.

Hi Loren, I put all my files in the Midi folder, so I will transfer them over to Audio and see if that works, glad to hear that WAV files will work as well, Thanks for the info

Are your WAV files 16bit, 44.1kHz? The amp will only read WAV's if they are.
