Hi,

I'm having a bit of trouble setting up to loop MP3 selections at reduced speed for copping licks. I can't find anything in the manuals that reference how the Aux. In. is routed to the SD card. Any ideas would be appreciated

Hi Scenter,

Mp3s cannot be looped properly due to some ID information contained in the files. So, it is best to loop wav files for playback. As far as the Aux input, this input simply brings an external device such as an mp3 or other media player into the Fender G-DEC 3 for playback through the amp.

In regard to changing pitch/speed on audio files themselves, you can do this on the amp by pressing the Band button (soft key) located under the display. From here you can arrow left or right through a series of options. You will see Repeat, Speed, Pitch, etc.

I hope this information is helpful. If you would like more information, please call or email us at the Technology Support Lab.

Best Regards,

Hi,

You can convert your mp3 files to wav files (check on google for free audio converter), or use the original wav files (don't convert to mp3).
