Hi Loren,

HAd my 30 for about a month now and really pleased with it.

I have a MAC and the software barely works on Snow Leopard but I'll wait..

Gigged it wired into the PA, sounded great and it was a LOUD band.

But,

Adon't know if it was a consequence of using it at it's limit for around 3 hours but afterwards I noticed a ratting coming from inside.

I'm handy with a screwdriver and a little cautious about loose things rattling around inside so took it apart and found a black screw rolling around inside the amp.

Can I find where it's from? There are similair screws holding on one of the circuit boards near the SD card but they are smaller and although I can see one of the screws on the other side of the board I presume they are the same size.

Basically I couldn't find where this puppy came from so took it out and kept it.

Is it possible some clumsy builder knocked one in and left it to rattle around inside?

Let me know if there's anything I should be checking here.

It's still working any way which brings me to my next point.

================

I've taken a lead out the back and run it into one of my old fender twins and it sounds amazing!!! Big smiles, need to get the other one on the go for a stereo setup which leads me to my next question.

DO I have to buy another one of these and butcher it so I can use it as an effectsunit/amp modeller?

Will you please,Please make a floorbox or rack unit - hell make both which I can patch into my twin for livework.

I have all sorts of stompboxes and effects units and this has got to be the best sounding. least hassle way of getting a great sound.

Please pass this suggestion on to the relevant department.

ps. I'd be happy to user test it for you...

Best regards

Dave

Hey Dave,

I passed this on to a few of our engineers and I'm waiting to hear back. I'll let you know as soon as I have some info for you.

Thanks Loren,
I have a couple of images...

The head of the screw is a roughly equal in diameter to one of the screws which hold the corners on.

This as I mentioned is larger than the circuit board mounting screws I can see.

ps, any news on getting a rack version G-DEC3 for studio and live use?[/img]
