What software are people using to modify recordings. I'd like to make the loops more concurrent and remove the pause/delay between loops.

I like to use Power Sound Editor for cropping delay and creating a good loop. The program is free and works really well.

Very cool! Thanks Nynavic for both of your replies. I'll give both of your suggestions a try.

The included Abeton Live Lite 8 software is good for editing loops and multi-track recording. There are other more simple programs such as Audacity (stereo) or Reaper (multi-track). Also make sure you use WAV files and not MP3's if looping is important to you. MP3's contain other information besides just the audio which prevents them from being able to loop seamlessly.

Ableton is really easy to use after you get over the learning curve. Once you get to know about hi-pass, lo-pass and filters and hard limiting, panning, etc. It allows you to be quite creative, especially if you do any MIDI sequencing that you later convert to WAV or MP3.
