Hello all,

Love my Gdec, but have a issue with Garageband using DAC as my input I have no recording level control. So I thought I would simply use the line out into my toneport UX2 to have the best of both worlds, the great gdec sounds with recording level control. But I can't seem to get it to work ?? I am using a standard patch cable from the line out (mono) tried both L & R line outs but no signal to be found, do I have to use a stereo cable and use both L & R in order to get the line out to work? the manual offers not help and I am a little disappointed by this.

Any help would be great..Thanks

I don't normally reply to my posts, but wanted to add the following as I may be brain dead..Does FUSE need to be running to gain recording level control...

There is a setting in the utility menu to control what goes to the line outs.
Go into the utility menu (hold the exit/util button) and push the right arrow button until you get to the "line out" setting. Use the wheel to set it to "all" to make both the backing track and your guitar appear on the line outs.

There is also a setting in that menu to control the level going to the line outs.

A mono cable should be fine unless you've loaded stereo backing tracks.

Thanks Dave,

I have found those settings and still nothing, I am sure I am simply missing a setup detail or just brain cells !?!

I have a few other idea's when I get home ( at work ) and I will follow up on this post and my findings.

Thanks for the tips !
