I looked around and can't find exactly what I am looking for so here goes..

How many of you have purchased the FULL version of Amplitube and what would entice you to purchse that over the incuded FUSE software?

It appears to me the LE version is not really good for anything but to slow down a track.

Thanks
pody

Amplitube and Fuse are 2 completely different things. Fuse is specifically used to control the G-DEC3 amp, and to create and modify G-DEC 3 presets.

Amplitube is used to emulate different amps and FX on your PC, but they play through your amp. Amplitube does not modify your G-DEC 3 presets or control the G-DEC 3.

I understand that, but the LE version I have only has a FUZZ WAH pedal and a few other Amp Models. I don't really see any benifit to upgrade to the full version.

It's a teaser version designed to entice you to buy into the actual product. Sounds like you're not convinced in the least.

I find this an extremely odd pack-in for G-DEC 3 since Amplitube doesn't really add anything to what Fuse/G-DEC 3 does besides function as a plug-in, but it's so neutered, why bother?

I don't see much value in the Amplitube thing either, and frankly am pretty disappointed in the Ableton Live Lite. It never installed properly, and my requests for assistance from Ableton have gone ignored. For sure, I will not be purchasing the full version of that.

But the G-dec 3-30, well it looks to be alright, although I have only started exploring it. I am confused with the FUSE software. I printed the pdf instructions and the pictures of the main screen are nothing like I get when I load the program. Any advice? :(

Hey Guys,

Clifford, I'm sorry that Ableton wasn't able to get you the help you need. Give us a call here at 480-596-7195 and we can walk you through getting Fender FUSE and Live Lite 8 set up.

Also, AmpliTube Fender LE is the lite version of AmpliTube Fender. While LE has 3 amp and 4 cabinet models, the full version ha 12 amp models, 12 cabinet models, and 6 Stomp and rack effect models. The purpose of the LE version is to determine if you like the sound quality and tone of the emulations.

Thank you. It just seems that so much was promised and when the product finally came out there were a lot of loose ends. Frankly, I am very disappointed with the Ableton software. One of the primary reasons I made the purchase was to use the amp as an interface for recording through Ableton. Guitar Center led me to believe this was a solid platform. It just seems like Fender should be a little more committed to making sure the whole system works as advertised. I do realize there are many variables involved in this, not the least of which is the skill level of the user and the specs of the platform computer. But to only be able to get the upgrade to the current version of Ableton over the web (which is what Ableton told me), is a bit silly. On my system that is a minimum of a four-hour download and when I attempted it, it failed. I realize that's not Fender's fault, but I do think Fender should do its best to make sure its customers get what they pay for. I believe that means you should stand tall and provide a current version of Ableton Live Lite via a cd.

I have a Fender Strat, a Tele and a Blues Jr. amp, and I really expected more support for this product.

Hey Clifford,

I'm sorry you feel that you were misled. However, the G-DEC 3 does function quite well as an interface with Ableton Live Lite 8 Fender Edition. We are more than happy to assist you with any errors you recieved or problems you've experienced with the package. As far as shipping the updates to customers on DVD, I understand your concern. Unfortunately, Ableton offers frequent updates to Live Lite 8 and sending out DVD's for every update isn't practical. Most software companies follow the same practice.

As mentioned before, we are here to help and you can contact us at 480-596-7195 from 8am to 5pm MST with any problems you may have with the amp and the included software.

Thank you. I will be in touch to see if this can be rectified. FYI, my efforts with Ableton were for naught. In fact, it seems they have blocked my access.
Again, my thanks.
