Brian, Thanks for the info on the cables being switched around. I do see a progress bar on the computer screen.....are u indicating I would see a progress bar on the g-dec lcd screen as well? If this is the answer....I feel like I need to get a midi for idiots book!!! can u suggest one :?: ...... :shock: :oops:

I'm headed out for a bit but will keep online to verify your information...

Yeah, there should be a progress bar on the amps display as well as the PC if the update is working properly. As far as a "MIDI for idiots" book goes try checking out the DEC family MIDI guide in the downloads section of the website:
