I recently purchased a G-Dec 30 and hooked up a BOSS Blues Driver pedal along with a BOSS auto-wah.

I'm noticing a lot of noise or hum from the amp especially on certain presets.

Is there a recommended method for reducing this? I've been an acoustic player for a long time but recently switched to the electric world. So many gadgets to figure out 8)

Thanks again for all the help.

I've reduced the noise on presets by going into the advanced setting on a particular preset and changing the noise gate to high or super. Sometimes if you lower the compression or change the timbre setting it will also help.

Hope that works for you.

another thing I noticed.. The GDEC "tells" on your guitar.. if you dont have the thing shielded well and grounded you'll get noise.. I get a bit from my Jaguar.. and a fair amount from my LP custom.. try a hush unit before the input maybe??
