Hi All,
I purchased the 15 on the 1st day of May. While I haven't played every day, I have figured out most things.
My aggrivation is loading mp3 band tracks. Every time I try to "Save to Amp Hard Drive" using Fuse 1.1.2 I get a message "There isn't enough memory to complete the file copy operation". Wierd thing is, the connection status disconnects first. I can play them while the amp is connected to the USB, but I have to use winamp or something else.

Help!

There isn't enough room on the G-DEC hard drive. Save your MP3/wav to an SD Card instead.

So, I have to delete some of the original wav files to load? I thought this thing has a 250 gb hard drive.

Also I never see the amp as a device/drive whether I have the SD card plugged in or not. The system thinks it is there because I get the Windows "bonk" when I turn on the amp.

Press and hold the Exit button to enter the Utility mode on the G-DEC. One of the utility options is to connect the G-DEC to your PC through the USB connection. You will then be able to see the G-DEC hard drive from your PC. The G-DEC HD is only 250MB.

You can also see how much free space is still available on the G-DEC HD from the utility menu.

You need at least a small SD card to add anything to the amp. By default, the SD (and HD) will not show up as mass storage devices (drives) unless you use the utility menu as described in the previous reply.

When you use Fuse to load a file, it appears to do the utility menu steps for you, puts the amp into mass storage mode, copies the file, then puts it back so that Fuse can communicate with it. The amp can only be in one mode or the other at any given time.

Have some patience. It does work well once you get the hang of it. I discovered last night, for instance that there is an order to the MP3s, WAV, and MIDI files when you scroll through them in quick access mode. I thought my file hadn't been copied to the SD card, but I was scrolling right by it because I didn't expect it to come between the WAV files on the HD and the Midi files.

good luck,
Dave

Thanks for the help! I don't have much time tonight to play with this amp, but I did as you all said and it works as expected.

Now on to the Abelton Live!

Good luck with Ableton Live Lite...so far I can't get it to work on my computer but Alan Willey and the engineering department are helping to try and work that out. It sure would be nice to be able to use the program.

It would be. I can barely hear a very faint sound using the test. Nothing else.

Let me know what you discover!

It sounds like you are getting signal but very little volume. Have you tried adjusting the Band Level knob. This affects the volume of your recording software's output to the amp.
