Is it possible on the gdec 30 with ul4 pedal to change presets whilst playing to a band track without it stopping or changing, for example changing from a clean sound for an intro to a crunch sound for a solo, thanks for any help

I'd like to see some more flexibility in this area as well.

Here is what I am doing.

I put the backing tracks on my SD card. Then I assign the 3 main presets to the Quick Access (QA1, QA2 & QA3) settings.

I am using the ULT-4 footswitch.

I put the amp in quick access mode. When the led on the footswitch is green (forget what mode that is) I can use the far right button to start the backing track. If I entend to switch presets during the song, then I must push the far left footswitch right after starting the backing track. This will change the mode of the footswitch to where the red light is lit up. At that point you can use switchs 2, 3 & 4 of the footswitch for accessing the quick access presets you defined on the QA1, QA2 & QA3 settings.

I wish there was a way to associate a preset with a backing track and start that track from the preset mode (which you can do) but still be able to use the QA1, QA2 & QA3 presets from the footswitch without it stopping playback of the backing track. Right now I don't think that's possible.

Hope that helps!

Take Care,

Bob

That would be great. So you could have a preset/backing track and have 3 other preset options while playing the song. Maybe 1 for rythym, 2 for lead and 3 for whatever.
