Have had my gdec 3 30 for about a week and love it!~ Agree with other comments here about the need for a nested folder structure for backing tracks!

Is anyone else finding a lot of the presets to be noisy (hissy) I am using a PRS custom 24 and a custom shop strat with the same results.

Hi Brad,

Try the rear input jack, this is a lower sensitivity input.

I'm using a US Strat (single coils) and I use the noise gate to get rid of noise...no problem.
....but I noticed the big difference sounds with a lot of distorsion presets using my other guitar with Humbucker pickups.

If the hissing is specific to certain patches, but not present on others, you have the option to check the noisegate setting. I've bumped it up on a couple noisy patches and it helps. Of course, as you know its a noise filter, so there are trade offs when you bump up the limiting threshold. You might play around with that option an see if it helps.

I have noticed that if I use the FUSE software it can occasionally , for no apparent reason, send the pre-sets all noisy. I usually have to reboot the Amp to solve it !

It is only on certain presets, not a huge fan of noise gates...... but will try.

I noticed the noise problem too on certain presets. The noisiest presets were those with a "stompbox" symbol in front of the amp. The ones with effects showing in the "fx loop" only were the quietest. Sorta like a real amp.
Also, try turning up the volume on the guitar rather than the amp.
