I have a GDEC 3 30 and am running the latest version of Fuse - v1.1.2 and keep having problems.

I fire up the amp, then load fuse. It syncs. Then I call a preset that is already loaded on the amp. Then, I adjust the volume on the screen -- it doesn't adjust it on the amp. Sometimes after about 15 seconds or so, it will change. Most times, nothing happens. So I go and click save on fuse.

What happens; I get this error message "There has been an unknown error communicating with the device. Fender FUSE will shut down. Please power cycle the G-DEC 3 Amplifier."

Is this happening to anyone else?

What do I need to do to fix this problem? I really can't adjust the amp using the software..............

Help!

"There has been an unknown error communicating with the device. Fender FUSE will shut down. Please power cycle the G-DEC 3 Amplifier."

I get the same message randomly and I must reopen Fuse to get things working.
One other bug: I power on my G-Dec 3 30 and I can see the first preset load on its screen (with distorsion).
I open Fuse (latest version) I establish the USB connection and I choose a clean preset by clicking New Preset (Blackface Cln) and I get a clean sound but still with distorsion !!!!

I think that there are still some bugs in Fender Fuse software and I hope that they are still working to get rid of these.

Another thing: Why can't I get a full screen image on my 22" screen?

I've updated to the newest version of Fuse and I get the same message sometimes when trying to make any changes to the settings.

I agree, it would be nice to have Fuse fill the screen when it's in use.

I have the same problem. Fuse 1.1.2, Windows Vista SP 2, Acer Extensa 5420. Worked for a while, then became worthless.

First, the software won't send data to my G-DEC 15, or it sends part of it (the preset name, but not the parameters). Then, I have to press the save button on the amp, because if I try and save from within Fuse, it locks up then crashes with the above message.

I might try re-installing the version on the DVD in case the bug is new rather than a legacy bug.

I know I can use the amp without the software, but it's a hell of a lot more difficult - a PC GUI is a lot easier than a tiny 3-line display accessible through four buttons and one dial.

I've seen a few posts thanking Fender for fixing the problem, but IMHO they haven't done anything. I hope they're still working on it, because they're not finished yet.

 Thanks, Fender: The 1.1.3 update seems to have fixed the problem.
