Part of Mr. Koch's pitch when he played our local music store promoting the G-DEC 3 was that there would be an "army" of people online to collaborate with. I really not getting that feeling. I realize that the Three just came out but I would at least expect a Fender rep that was familiar with the G-DEC 3 to answer simple questions. The total lack of response is off putting. With that said I guess it is going to be our (the people reading this) responsibility to create new presets and answer questions if we know the answer.

I just used the G-DEC three 30 in a gig last week and learned a lot.
I will be posting about my G-DEC 3 running trough my 400 watt powered PA speaker - OMG!!! Talk about big!

Anyway, I guess this a call to all you G-DEC 3 owners to on this board to help make this place a home for us all, upload new presets and maybe together we can utilize the forum in a way that serves us and future owners.

I agree to the fact that it is going to be our responsibility to help each other when we can. For the preset I suggest to comment in the preset description the pickup (single coil, humbucker, neck, bridge) and the guitar brand used to create the preset.

I am not excusing Fender but don't forget that it's the first time (excluding G-dec 15 and 30) Fender had to deal with amps and computers with multiple operating systems (many version of Windows, Mac), and Microsoft Windows is not an example of stability ... but the last month was productive (2 updates) and it take more time to produce good presets. We (the users) are in a learning phase (how to operate the software, the hardware, what guitar, what pickup, effects before or after the amp), you have to match a guitar with one of the amps in the G-Dec to find your tone.

You can count me in on this group of Players/Users too. As soon as my local GC getsa 3-Thirty in, I'm getting one, and I'll be writing some of my presets from my older G-Decs into the new one, and looking for ideas to create more.
We should have a thread going in this part of the Forum for preset sharing and swapping, and tips to tweeking and fine tuning. I'll be looking in on this one.
