Using Fender Fuse I can see the data on the G-DEC, however I can't see the SD card from Fuse nor does my computer show the G-DEC 3 as a removable media device. I'm using a SanDisk 4GB SDHC card. Any help appreciated.
Thanks!

Hi Speegman,

It sounds like your SD card may not be formatted. Have you plugged it into your Fender G-DEC 3 yet? If not, you will need to do so. When you do this, your SD card will get a low-level format and have several folders placed on it.

Among those, you will see a Preset folder and an Audio folder. Please be sure to place Preset data in the Preset folder and all audio (mp3 & wav) in the Audio folder.

Once this is done, you should see your data on the G-DEC 3. You can also go into Utility mode, and go to USB Drive mode (press and hold the Exit button. Then soft key arrow to the left two clicks, and press Enter in either of the two center soft key buttons). Once you enter USB drive mode, you will be able to access the amp and SD card (if plugged in) via My Computer/Computer.

I hope this helps. Please let us know if we can be of further assistance.

Cheers,

Alan Willey

Hi,

I'm using a SanDisk 4GB SDHC card and it's working.

Thanks folks! Per your instructions I went into Utility mode and everything was as it should be. All the best!
