I know it's not the right place to ask this but...
A few questions about Fender Amplitude LE software on Fender disk included with the G-Dec 3:

1. Is this a full or just a trial version ? (10 days full version and after that just the demo as read in doc ! )

2. Is it the complete version of Amplitude or just the Studio one?

3. Where do I find the serial number asked by Amplitude on startup?

4. Got a Realtek motherboard integrated sound card in my XP PC...does the G-Dec 3 (when USB connected) become an external sound card?

5. Is the ASIO driver on the disk OK to use Amplitude with the amp?

Thanks.

The Fender G-DEC 3 includes a full version of AmpliTube Fender LE. Keep in mind that LE is basically a "limited" version of AmpliTube Fender.

2. Is it the complete version of Amplitude or just the Studio one?

It is the complete version of AmpliTube Fender LE, not AmpliTube Fender.

3. Where do I find the serial number asked by Amplitude on startup?

Your Fender G-DEC 3 packaging should have contained license cards for AmpliTube Fender LE and Ableton Live Lite 8 Fender Edition. If your amp didn't come with these cards, contact Fender Consumer Relations at 480-596-7195.

4. Got a Realtek motherboard integrated sound card in my XP PC...does the G-Dec 3 (when USB connected) become an external sound card?

Yes. If the Fender ASIO driver is installed, your Fender G-DEC 3
will function as a USB audio interface/sound card.

5. Is the ASIO driver on the disk OK to use Amplitude with the amp?

The driver is included on the disk in the Fender Software-PC folder.

Thanks.

Hope that helps.

Quotes:
"It sounds like you have installed the Fender ASIO driver and selected it in AmpliTube Fender LE. Now you need to enable the Fender ASIO driver. Just go to the AmpliTube "Audio Setup" and click the "Panel" button. You must disable the Realtek driver and enable the "USB Audio Device" by clicking the buttons next to them. Now, as long as the "USB Audio Device" is selected in "Audio Setup", you should be good to go."

4. Got a Realtek motherboard integrated sound card in my XP PC...does the G-Dec 3 (when USB connected) become an external sound card?

"Yes. If the Fender ASIO driver is installed, your Fender G-DEC 3
will function as a USB audio interface/sound card. "

Thanks for answering: Maybe a stupid question: because I'm still unable to use Amplitude.

If the G-Dec 3 function as a USB audio interface/sound card, where do I plug the guitar :computer Realtek Line in, Realtek mic in or G-Dec3 guitar input!! ?

I installed the ASIO driver, tried what I could in Amplitude audio setup and panel (by choosing the ASIO driver instead of Direct X) and the only sound I get when finally it seems connected is noise!!!
I didn't find anywhere step by step instruction on how to connect and use Amplitude Fender with the G-Dec 3 as USB audio interface/sound card. That would be very appreciated.
Thanks.

Folks,

I'm having a lot of trouble getting Fender AmpliTube LE to work. No sound even though I've got the ASIO driver installed. The amplication is visibly responding to my playing but there is no sound. When I try to tweak the sound drivers from within the AmpliTube application it crashes. Who should I go to for support: Fender or IK Multimedia? My system is Windows XP, SP3.
Thanks!

I use MacBook pro and G-DEC 3 works fine as an audiointerphase. You just connect the G-DEC to the MacBook through the USB and plug the guitar into the GDEC.
When you start up Amplitube select G-DEC as your audio source in and out.

When you play use the band volume on the amp to increase the sound level.

If the amp is "hanging" you may have to start up the Fender Fuse software before you start amplitube.
