Firstly, I would like to say kudos to Fender on doing a great job on support and organizing a user friendly forum. I especially appreciate the fast replies of the staff. Keep up the work and add a new band track every once in a while and you have got yourselves a great product.

Anyway, after a bit of a$$-kissing. I have a suggestion. Would it be possible to add a section where folks can share the recordings they made with the included recording software. It would add a nice touch. I have a boss micro-br for recording and there is a user-site where this is done. I find that to be one of my favorite online communties. It also gives people a chance to record with each other by sending files back and forth.

If you like this idea, feel free to use incorporate it into this site. Maybe as a reward, you might consider throwing a telecaster my way as a show of appreciation. Never hurts to ask.

Finally, A quick question. I have a POD X3 and was wondering if I could use the Ableton sofware so that I could add in vocal tracks.

Thanks.

Hey guys,

I'm sorry it's taken us so long to get to this post. It's been pretty hectic around here lately. As far as the music sharing forum, I'll pass that suggestion on to the guys that can actually make that sort of thing happen.

As for the POD X3, I'm not familiar with that particular unit and it's capabilities. What I do know is that Ableton Live Lite 8 Fender Edition can be used with any ASIO compatible audio interface on the PC and any Core Audio compatible interface on Mac OS X. From what I can see on Line 6's site, it is a USB interface so most likely it will work. Take a look at the box or documentation your POD X3 came with. If it has a big ASIO logo or Core Audio on the box then you're golden.

I hope that helps.

Loren
