Good morning Loren,
I picked up a g-dec 3 thirty yesterday and I am trying to work my way through it, a couple of problems-
I can't get the whole dvd to play on my computer no matter what I do, it will play the fuze and ableton portions but when I click on the dvd rom icon it tells me to put it in my computers disc player to play it, that's where it already is. Also, when I hook up the amp to my computer to use the Fender Fuse content, the site won't allow me to register so I can access it.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Olguy

Hey olguy, sorry I can't help you with your computer issues but where in the states are you? It sounds like Fender has started shipping the new amps out and they weren't slated to go out until early April. Just wondered how close to the west coast you are......thanks!

Hi Flat-3
I'm livin' in the Tundra of Northern Wisconsin, just got really lucky getting the amp. I don't think the computer probs are too serious, I will talk to the tech where I work 2moro, I'm sure he can straighten things (me) out. So far the amp has been a blast to play with, I just barely got into the Fuse stuff, it appears that there is no end to the "tweaking" one can do to this thing.
I'll keep ya posted.

Those of us who preorderded can only hope that they have started shipping them out early. From everything I've seen I think it will take me a year to go through all the stuff before I even get to the computer software. This thing has got me totally stoked......thanks for keeping us posted.

Hello,

I assume you are using Windows. Right-click on the DVD icon in My Computer and then click Explore. You should now have access to all of the DVD-ROM content on the disc.

Also, congratulations on your new amp. By the way, you are one of the extremely lucky few who happened to snag a Fender G-DEC 3 before the official launch date. Please hang in there with us since the support materials are scheduled to be online on March 23rd. In the meantime, we'll continue to browse the forum in case there are other questions.

Loren

Thanks Loren,
I got into the dvd-rom portion and now there is even more cool stuff to play with! Will I be able to register on the Fuse community after the 23rd of March?
Thanks for a very cool amp-
Olguy

Hey Olguy,

since you are the first to get one, we have to ask ..... how does it sound? I know there are so many features to go through and figure out, but at the basic level I'm curious if you are happy with "out of the box" sound from the G dec 3? Is it overprocessed, like a lot of the solid state amps out there, or can you find some natural tube like settings on the wheel?

congrats on your lucky find!
Eric.

I'm glad you like the amp. You can expect the Fender FUSE community to be up and running very soon. We appreciate your patience with us as we gear up for the official launch.

Hi Eric,
I'm sure that once this amp is in everyone's hands there will be some that criticize the sounds but I think that this amp is honestly 'unbelievable' ! When I purchased my g dec I was looking at a Peavey Delta Blues because I wanted tube sound, I got that and way, way more. You will be blown away with this bad boy when you get yours. :!: :D
