Thanks for the questions guys. It's been extremely busy around here while getting ready for the launch and we appreciate the interest that's being shown towards the amps.

A few people wanted to know which amps the Fender G-DEC 3 tones were modeled after. I can't answer that just yet, but I'm sure that by the time the amps are in stores I'll be able to divulge (big word for me) more info on that.

Lunchmeat: I pretty sure your amp will be replaced by one of the same model. Trust me, I feel your pain. Going without your amp must be killing you. We'll try to get you taken care of ASAP.

Thanks Loren, the pain isn't so much the amp (have a '65 Princeton Reverb here) the problem is the band quit

To everyone,
Please be aware that Fender is selling their new G-DEC 3 software Fender Fuse saying that it is Mac compatible. IT IS NOT!!!

So far...nothing. It's been 8 weeks now. I called the dealer last week and he said he hasn't received a replacement yet and was going to call Fender.

Hello Guys,

We have heard reports of crashing and we are working on this right now.

Lunchmeat:

I"m very sorry your replacement is taking so long. If you give me your name and contact info I'll get to the bottom of it. Call us here at 480-596-7195 and ask for me.

Are you implying that none of Fenders computers crash with this software and that if we hadn't complained you would have thought fuse was bug free and that no one at Fender knew of this problem?

What OS are you running?

What I'm saying is that even though we have Fender FUSE running here on every supported version of Windows on multiple hardware configurations some people may still experience issues that we haven't seen. Also, even if we discover that Fender FUSE crashes intermittently, it takes a little time to figure out why it crashes. What you can be sure of, though, is that once we are made aware of an issue, we will devote all of our resources to correcting the problem.

Hi Loren

Thank you for introducing yourself. The concept of the G-DEC3 is great, but as others, I also experience Fuse crashing when working with it, but at present my biggest concern is the speaker staying disengaged when I remove the headphones. I've had to put the headphone plug in and out of the jack numerous times and restart the amp numerous times to get sound through the speaker again. I'm afraid that one of these times the speaker may not reengage. Although it may be somewhat personally problematic, I'm not going to use the headphones again until it can be repaired.

I've been in contact with Scott and he put me in touch with Alan at Tech Support. Alan is being very helpful, working through some other issues, ie: ASIO driver for Amplitube LE and trying to cure the error message for installing Ableton Live Lite which he is still working on.

It's really great to see such a dedicated support staff working at Fender.

How do I get the output from the rear guitar jack to match the output volume level of the front (main) jack? Right now the second (rear) jack outpt volume is very low.

The rear guitar input is a lower sensitivity input. The lower sensitivity makes it ideal for guitars with high-output pickups. If your guitar distorts too
easily using the front panel input, try plugging into the rear
guitar input.
