You must like paying to be a free beta tester.
I would seriously wait till the first software update and some consumer reviews.

I won't be the first in line for anything anymore.

Good for you Tbillygoat! Im excited for you. BTW Welcome to the forums.
I would really like to get one, but I have a good working Gdec 30, so far I haven't had any problems. Well, Im sure it will be worth the wait.

Good Luck

Bill

Good for you. You can give us a user review as soon as you get hold of it, right?
I have a good working Gdec 30, too, and I love it! But that doesn't mean an upgrade isn't in my future.....

Keep us posted!!!!

Just ordered the new G-DEC 15 from MF. Pretty psyched about the new features. Hopefully the PC interface works better than the original GDEC interface...

I was able to demo a GDEC 3 30 for about an hour at a local store.

I am impressed with the ease of use, and the backing track selection, but I'm less-than-impressed with the tonality of the machine. I thought it was VERY compressed-sounding compared to the SS section of the SCXD.

I'll probably still buy it, but I was hoping it would at least be the equal of the modeling channel of the SCXD. It is not.

I've had mine now a week. Still learning every thing about it. I'm a Mac user and am happy with everything that I've tried. There's so much to learn. I'm trying to order the optional footswitch. My guitar shop hasn't been able to get one yet. They've found a part number but can't order it.
