What about the "AmpliTube® Fender LE modeling software.

How is it (LE) different from the standard version?

Amplitube Fender LE is basically an introductory "lite" version that is designed to give people a way to record digitally with their guitar.

The Ableton *lite* is the recording software.

What doesn't the LE Amplitube do that the full regular version does? - This is modeling software not a recording app.

Thanks Bill. The specs on the amp list the "LE" version is included. I was trying to see what the difference was. I don't need or use Riffworks, Live lite or the Stealth interface.

You are correct Mike. However, Amplitube Fender LE does operate as a plug in inside of your DAW, allowing you to dial up pretty much any guitar sound you want digitally. Unfortunately, I can't give you more info than that just yet.

From the YouTube videos I saw, it looks like the LE version offered with the G-DEC 3 amps only has Fender models in it, as opposed to a full version with amp models from many manufacturers.

That is correct. I apologize for not giving a more detailed explanation. I incorrectly assumed that people were already somewhat familiar with the full version, which is Amplitube Fender.

The LE version is a lite version of the full version. Here's a link to the full version.

Okay, I'm just cutting to the chase here, does the LE version have IK's proprietary VRM™ (Volumetric Response Modeling) ?

I'm very familiar with and own several software packs of Amplitube Hendrix, Fender, etc.

Thanks in advance! :)

What is the reasoning behind putting the on/off switch on the back of the amp? It is such a pain. It limits where you can place the amp, ie, on shelving with something alongside...While this amp can be used for live performances, 99% of them will be used only at home.

It's my only complaint about these amps, and a big one. It's stupid.

Will Amplitube LE work as a plug-in with Fender's Fuse software? For example, will Amplitube provide additional amp models besides those that come with the amp and Fuse?

Hey guys,

Thank you for the questions. What I can say is that Amplitube Fender LE does include the same technology as the full version but with a smaller "footprint". It can also be used as an AU/VST/RTAS plug in inside of Ableton Live Lite Fender Edition or any other DAW that is compatible with these formats.

Arnie, I hear you about the power switch placement. I'll let the engineers know. I will say that the power switch is not far from the edge of the amp, making it pretty easy to just get one finger back there and flick it.

Keep the questions coming guys.

Loren

After everything I've read and the video I've seen I can't wait for April. The 30 is my next guitar related purchase. As primarily a blues player, any idea how many of the onboard backing tracks are blues. I've played Chicago 101 to death on my junior.

I'm not sure how many blues tracks there are but just browsing through the presets, I hear a lot of blues flavored tracks. I'm sure you will be happy.
