I've got a gdec30 I love to twang out on. Does anyone have any good settings they use for country and chicken picken'? I like the bakersfield setting and trainbilly. What are you using? :?:

you know, bakersfield works fine, if your not using tweed 1 try it , ive mixed it up with a little overdrive, numetal, touch wah, i use a strat hwy1, and it sounds pretty twangy. which scales do you use for chicken picken?
i kind like messing with pentatonic blues.

I'm mostly using pentatonic. I worked out a setting that's kinda like the bakersfield one but a little twangier. Try this out:
Amp type = blackface 1
gain = 3.5
volume = 9.0
bass = 9.0
midrange = 4.5
treble = 9.0
compression = low
timber = full body
noise gate = medium
effects = tape delay
fx level = 3.4
delay time = 150ms
feedback = 2.0
flutter = 4.7
brightness = 7.3
rvb type = small room
rvb level = 2.2

I change the drum pattern to 'swing' because it stays in the same key so I can practice licks over and over in the same key and slowly increase the speed.

go to www.mygdec.com you must register to download the presets. it don't cost anything to register.go to the file repository once in the repository go to G-dec files.click on that then go to g-dec patches these about 100 different presets to play with. if you look around the site you'll find other stuff to. good luck.

This patch looks like a "Twin Reverb" variation. Love that amp.

I bet after the Holidays this patch may appear there when I update the patch sheet. ; )
