I've been looking for a G-DEC 30 amplifier as a gift for Christmas and can't find it. MF and GC tell me they're sold out and don't expect anymore, but stopped short of saying that they're discontinued. Came here to see what the availability was, and it appears that they've been discontinued. Have searched but cannot find any solid information. Odd that there is no official word from Fender if they plan to discontinue the model. I wouldn't want to purchase the 15 watt model, then find that the company introduces an upgraded G-DEC 30 model. Any information would be appreciated. Thanks.

Hey Wally,
It does appear that it may be discontinued...Bummer...
I guess unless Fender is going to come out with a new deal, you may need to look at the line 6 stuff...

Good Luck,

Bill

Shop around online.

Even if discontinued, there have got to be a bunch of G-DEC 30s around in
the pipeline. Products don't disappear overnight. I just bought one from a GC
last month.

They're gone. I've checked Sweetwater, GC, MF,
and local music stores in the Commonwealth of Pa.
Nothing except used. Got friends checking in
Florida, Colorado, Wyoming and Arizona. So far,
nada. Can't get any official word from Fender.
I wonder what's going on?

I'll bet the prices on pre-owned models will be going up now?

Its a shame that they stop selling the g dec 30 it was a nice amp i am glad i have mine i just hope it keeps working i know when i first bought mine i had to return it because of problems with the AV inputs but the new one works fine i hope they come up with a 50 watt with a 12in speaker that would be nice and add a tube or two would be a dream come true well i hope you find one good luck. I got mine about 1 week ago at the local GC - it is new in the box. I would think that if you did some calling around you could still find one - maybe some of the smaller 'mom&pop' shops.
