I am new to this amp and fear I might have a problem. I can adjust the FX, the Util and Aux without problem. But when I press the "Amp" button nothing happens. Is this a defective amp or defective button? Or am I doing something wrong.

Hi, and welcome to the forums.

When you depress the amp button, it should highlight (in black)"amp type" pressing it again (and again) will toggle through the various settings. Turning the silver knob will change the value of these settings. If this is not happening, and the amp is new, you should return it right away. Fender is vary good about warranty work.
Good Luck,

Bill

Thanks,

Thats kind of what I thought. Unfortunately the amp is not new. I bought it about a year ago and just started working with it now. I will bring it back to GC and see what they say. I still have the receipt. It was actually a floor model. Now I know why.

If it was New, but just a floor model, it still should be covered... let us know how it turns out

WOW..

Took the amp to GC today. It is 15 months old. They made one call to fender and I walked out with a brand new one. They said it was a known problem with the amp and exchanged it no questions asked. That is AWESOME customer service.

Thanks for the help!
