I'm new at this, and by this I mean forums,G-DEC, computers (with my musical equipment). I ask for patients, please.

I just bought a G-DEC 30. I have used the presets to work on my lead playing but lead guitar is not my goal. I have also used the composer to just fool around with. I've noticed that I can't do walk down's or change chords within a measure.

So I guess my question is: How do I get those walk down's and chord changes in there is it possible with the downloads I've seen on this site?

Also, I've read comments on this product from people who do a solo act and I am interested in doing that with this rig. How do I go about it?

Since this post is four months old you may already have found the answer but just in case you haven't, here goes...

The JAMMER Songwriter that's free for download from Fender's site doesn't have the capability of entering notes on the staff. You should be able to do chord changes within measures though. It's pretty easy to use... like a dumbed down sequencer. For real programability for your compositions you will need a computer, MIDI interface and a real sequencer program like Sony ACID or Cakewalk Pro. I've also found the four button foot switch to be indispensable for performances as well as practice.

I do one-man-shows in restaurants and yoga studios. The G-DEC 30 is great because I don't need to lug around an amp, drum machine and computer anymore. For it's size the G-DEC 30 is surprizingly light which is another plus for this old fart.
