Hey Everyone,
I just wanted to post a quick note introducing myself. I am Software Engineer in R&D and was heavily involved in the development of all of the DEC's. I have been asked by Shane to check this forum occasionally and try and offer as much assistance as possible with technical issues. Keep in mind that my primary job is designing new products so I won't be monitoring this forum daily and I won't be able to answer any questions about future products. Thanks in advance,

-Brian

Hello Brian,

when rotating the data wheel on my G-Dec it sometimes randomly
goes wild. Changing from preset 1 to 2 for example it goes to 7 or 35 or
15. What to do ?

The G-DEC will jump presets if the knob is turned quickly, allowing you to skip through a large number of presets quickly. If the amps skips wildly while turning the knob a single click than it is probably a mechanical issue with the encoder and you should contact a service center.

Have you thought about a rack unit?

Without the speaker, poweramp & cabinet, you should be able to get a nice place in the price market. Much of the R&D is done in the -30.
