Hi everyone

I recently bought a G Dec 30 from guitar center I have it about 6 weeks.
It does no work anymore it stops playing after about 5 minutes. I have tried different outlets in my house and still get the same result. Since I have it more than 30 days and did not take out an extended warranty
I cannot exchange it there. My Question is what do I do with it now and how do i get this problem fixed. I was really surprised that this happened after having it for such a short time .

Thanks
Anthony B

Contact Fender customer service on this website They should help you out. It has a 5 year warranty I think someone at GC was trying to rip you off with an extended warranty

Don't ever buy an extended warranty! They are nothing but a ripoff.
The amp is covered by a 5 year warranty. Fender replaced my GDec for a faulty data wheel.

Hi Anthony,
If you did purchase the amp new, they should cover it all repair or replace, If GC is jacking you around, report it to Fender.
Good Luck

Bill

Anthony,
I got a raw deal at GC last year got ticked off and emailed the main office. The next day first thing the local GC that stiffed me made everything right. The manager was ticked off but I didn't care. What's right is right.

I'm guessing that if they tried to sell you an extended warranty that it was a used or pre-owned amp...is this correct?

Let us know if bought used or new and we'll point you in the right direction.

The amp that i bought was new. I spoke to someone at GC and he said to bring it down to them so I will go this week and see what they say.
