A couple weeks ago I turned on the g-dec 30 and the software never got past the boot up stage. Sometimes it just does nothing, sometime the software tries to start over and over. Any ideas?

Hi,
Man thats not good... If its new obviously take it back, other than that its the repair shop... You may check the mygdec.com forum and ask there as well
Good luck
Bill

Did you try contacting Fender support? Maybe they have a work around to reset the amp. Is it still under warranty? They replaced my whole GDec 15 just for a faulty data wheel. I upgraded to a 30. So far no problems.

I have noticed that sometimes it is power sensitive. In other words, it will operate on some plugs and not on others. Try moving it to other electrical outlets.

That exactly what my B-DEC 30 is doing. I have to turn the amp off and sometimes unplug it, multiple times, to get it to boot past the opening logo.

This is very frustrating and I wonder if it is power related.
Someone else said that the amps are sensitive to outlet power fluctuations, so try another outlet in your house.

I was wondering if a software update would help.
My amp is using version 1.02.02
