... a new forum devoted exclusively to the highly successful DEC® family (all variants of the G-DEC®, and the B-DEC® 30 as well). I'll probably be hanging out here quite a bit myself as my office amp is a G-DEC 30. Enjoy!

The number one content need of the G-DEC user beyond an instructive forum such as this is new and great midi jam files to play through their excellent G-DEC midi sample engine. Can you guys rig up a little server space for us to start uploading midi files to share with the community here? Midi files are tiny, wouldn't take much.

Great, thanks, Steven! G-DEC really blooms into its full potential when players get access to a broad spectrum of midi jam files across many genres. The preset grooves are far too short and limiting.

Product-wise, far too many players return their G-DEC without ever getting into the vast and fun world of midi jam files. Fender needs to turn them onto this semi-hidden dimension of G-DEC.

To noobs, there is a big difference between what you can do with midi files in G-DEC and plain old MP3s. You have complete control over tempo and key, and with any free midi sequencer, you can even remix the file any way you want before playing to it. Try that with an MP3.

Add to that the quality that Fender put into their onboard midi tone set--it sounds really great, especially in phones or off a good stereo monitoring system.
