Hello Everyone,
I'm a beginner. i have a Fender G-DEC junior and a digitech RP-250 Multi Effect. they both have amp and effects settings, i want to use the digitech for effects and amp settings, i want to use the G-DEC as an amp in bypass mode for now
how can i do that when there's no clean amp setting or anything

i tried leaving it on acoustic and changing amp settings from my multi effect, it sounded ugly.

any help ?

Thanks in advance.

On the digitech, set the amp/mixer button to mixer. Then connect the left and right line-outs to the aux-in on the jr. You'll need to adapt from two 1/4 inch mono outs from the digitech to the stereo 3.5mm jack on the jr.

Cheapest way - Search for one of these:

http://www.amazon.com/Hosa-CMP-153-Audi ... B0002CZZ0G

or print the picture and take to music store or electronics shop. May get better sound quality using two patch cables to a different adapter. Get music shop suggestions.

You can also get those kinds of cables and adaptors at Radio Shack.

If you didn't what to use the modeling and effects, why didn't just spend $70.0 on a Pignose or play through the home stereo aux in?

I've had a Pignose since 72 or 73 and it still sounds cool. It's ultra reliable too. It has a line out.

Cool. I have a Pig Nose and a Gdec 30. It's really hard to beat the Pig.

Digitech makes nice equipment. You Jr probably can make all the sounds your RP250 will, but you will loose the expression pedal.

I sometimes use a Morley Volume and/or a Morley Wah in front of the amp. They work better than any multi-effects units. This is probably true of any dedicated pedal.

You may want to experiment with the Jr. There are many good sounds in that little box.
