My G Dec Junior just died. I noticed it was getting hot. I turned it off for a few minutes turned it back on and after a few seconds the light went out. What now? I actually bought it used so I guess there is no warranty.

Go to a Fender authorized dealership. Based on the serial number they can determine if it is less than 5 years old. If you have your receipt to validate the sale they can quickly transfer the warrantee. If you don't, they may honor it anyway. Fender has been very nice about this kind of thing.

According to the spec sheet, the G-DEC Jr was introduced in 1/2007, so it has to be less than 5 years old - unless someone has invented time travel

Not for anything, but I sold my 7 month old G-Dec 30 and I had no issues with it at all. I just didn`t like it and sold it before I started having problems with it. After reading some of these threads and having to deal with tweaking it all the time it just wasn`t for me.

Let us know how the return goes. I know several people that have had warranty work done on Cyber Deluxe amps that were purchased used.

The Gdec family and the Cyber family are not for everyone. If you like to tinker and learn "techy" details about your equipment, these amps are great. If you are a plug and go person, they are a nightmare.

There is a guy I play with from time to time that hears my C-Deluxe and drools over the sound. When I let him play with the amp he goes nuts. Great player, but he is a plug and play person. I'm not as good of a player, but I can make these amps do anything you can imagine.

There is gear for everyone, just keep looking until you find the gear that fits you.
