Hello !

I got a GDEC 3 Thirty bought in 2012. I used to play with my headphones pluged in. One week ago i tried to play through speaker , so i unplugged my headphone but no sound at all !
Everything is working properly with my headphone !

I saw article related to this kind problems related to the "unplugging" of the headphone from the AMP, which stays in "headphone" mode.

Can you help ?
Is there something i can do by myself ?
Thanks
Regards
Gildas

IMO the headphone output jack may have a broken contact or desoldered contact .
Or this amp have a speaker mute switch ?
Try to plug unplug few times your headphone.

I agree with stratele52. Try plugging the headphones in and out a few times.

If that doesn't work, you related you bought the amp in 2012, if you still have the receipt the amp is still under warranty. Don't try to fix the problem yourself or you will void the warranty.

Find the nearest Fender Service Center and take the amp in. Here is a link to find the service center near you:

Hope this helps.

Jerry

Hi All !

At first thanks a a lot for your answers (as a reminder , i'm french , so please be indulgent with my english ;-) )

To answer to stratele52, the article quoted is the following : " G-DEC 15: No sound after plugging head phones in", this amp has no speaker mute switch.

I will try to plug / unplug the headphone to check !

And I confirm , i still have the receipt so my amp is under warranty, but as i'm in France, i do not have any Fender Service Center :-(

Ask to International forum, French section.

Pose la question où faire réparer sur garantie en France dans la section en Français du forum.
En bas de la page principale.
