Every now and then, I have to set up and run somebody else's sound system. It heightens my appreciation for my Passports.

Thank you for making a system that is the right size. It doesn't break my back hauling it around, and it sounds great.

Too many venues have sound systems that are overpowered. It's like the attitude is "There's no such thing as too much power." Meanwhile, the fact is, amps really don't sound all that good if they aren't cranked up to 50% or so, and if you have a small hall and too many watts, the power amp (or the line level preamp) is going to be down around 20% of its range. If you wonder why you have to play with the EQ settings so much in order to get moderately passible sound out of the system, here's your candidate.

It's far better to have a system with appropriate wattage for the room you are playing in. The Passport 500 Pro and the 300 Pro are built for that sweet spot for a restaurant, a conference room or a high school basketball court.

Thank you for coming up with amazingly clear sound out of speaker cabinets that weigh 15 pounds each. I don't risk my health putting them on stands, and I don't risk the health of my dancers having the stand fall over, dumping a 60 pound box on their heads.

You make the best little PA system in the world.

Thank you.

I see you mentioned "basket ball court" I played for a golf tournament last Fri.for a 100 people. When I walked in and seen the hall with a 100 or so there, I said "ummm I wonder if this 500 is gonna be able to penetrate the crowd with good clear sound .But they all said it sounded ok and good but I really had doubts, cause if I continue these large halls I'm gonna piggy back an other 500 ,have a 1,000 watts and 4 speakers.I do agree with you it's the best out there.Im playing in a tent on Main Street,in a town here, and they told me I don't have to bring my system but said "oh no my equipment comes with me"
