Well I hate the wind ! I was providing the music today at a large car show and the wind was really gusting.
It blew one of my speaker stands over and my speaker landed square on the front and it drove the speaker plug right though . Broke the round plug out of the cabinet and now the plug is inside the cabinet .
I need to remove the front of the speaker cabinet to repair the plug in.
I have the screen cover off, and all the screws out (8, I think).
But I'm un-sure how to get the front to come out of the cabinet ?? Does that rubber gasket hold it in ???? And I suppose it a real pain to get back in ??
How do I get the front off so I can repair the plug-in ??
And any advice as to how to re-assemble ??
Thanks a lot

This might be worth contacting Fender for repair, or at least checking in with the store where you bought the unit.

Best of luck.

I had to take mine apart after it was blown over a railing and landed 30' below.
1. Remove the four small screws that hold the grill in place.
2. Pry out the grill little by little around the perimeter so you don't bend it.
3. Remove the 1" screws in the access holes around the perimeter. There are about 8 of them.
4. In the center, between the speakers, there's a deep recess. Get a long handled Phillips screwdriver and remove that screw.
5. Carefully pry the speaker unit, WITH the rubber gasket, out of the cabinet. Because the top edge is sort of tucked under that U shaped area, it will be best to pry the bottom first, and get that separated. Then it should slip out and down. And remember that you have to push it up and in when you are reassembling.
