I have two new Passports; a 300 and a 500. I have a subwoofer and am considering getting a graphic equalizer to defeat feedback in a notorious environment I'll be using soon. So, when the high pass filter kicks in when I plug in the subwoofer, does that affect the signal going to "Stereo Out" and the Flash drive recorder? If I hook up a graphic equalizer on the effects loop ports of the 500, will that affect the signal going to the "Stereo Out" or the Flash drive recorder?

No response since February. Is this really something that nobody at Fender knows? I know that the stereo out ignores the master volume. I've learned that from combining the two Passports with a 1/8" TRS patch cord from the stereo out on one amp to one of the two stereo channels on the other amp.

A lot changes when you plug in the subwoofer. My wild guess is that none of these changes affect the stereo out. Ditto for the USB FLASH recorder. I'm just a little disappointed that nobody confirms or denies the accuracy of my wild guess, since this is not mentioned in the manual.

Hi ContraCaller,

My apologies for the long silence here. I will make sure that this forum gets more monitored.

To answer your question, just as you assumed, the stereo out is not being affected by plugging in a sub or connecting something to the pre-out/ power amp in. It is going straight from the pre-amp channel sum to the stereo out jack. The channel tone controls obviously affect the stereo out signal.

Also, I want to thank you for your contributions to this forum!

Ken
