I ask this out of sheer ignorance. The power cord supplied with my recently purchased Fender 300 Pro is not always long enough to reach available outlets in the rooms where I play. So far, out of caution, I've been leaving the control box within reach of the outlet, which may be as far as 15 feet away from where the mics are, and as a result I have to walk back and forth to adjust the levels. Is it safe to use a 15'or 25' extension cord? If so, what specs? Is there any other alternative such as a replacement - longer - power cord? Thanks!

The PP 300 draws 450 watts--that's under 5 amps. Household extension cords are rated for at least 15 amps, so you will be fine. To be safe, use a heavy duty cord and make sure to get one with the third grounding prong.
