I want to use a roland ua-25 audio interface with my mac book pro and the passport 300 pro. Will the enclosed speaker cables be compatible with the audio interface?

Hi,

The speaker cables that come with the Passport 300 Pro are TS. Hope this answers your question.

The speaker cables are designed to connect the speakers with the amplifier, not with the computer interface. The Roland UA-25 is not an amplifier, so it doesn't use speaker cables.

While speaker wires often use the same 1/4" plug as "instrument" (or "line level) cables do, the wires and shielding is a lot different for these two different kinds of cables.

Don't use speaker cables for line-level signals. Don't use instrument cables for speaker-level signals. The signal quality is vastly better when you use the right cable for the job. Use the Passport speaker cables for the Passport's speakers. Go buy instrument cables for the Roland UA-25.
