Hi GUYZ.......A New Guy , signed up to hopefully get your expertise.....I recently bought a OLD Passport 150.....I was TOLD The Amp was Quirky and that 2 speakers were Blown and REMOVED from one encloser ...Keeping my fingers crossed ! I invested 50.00$ In Hopes to Fix/repair or use some of the working Parts ... My intent is to supply an Inexpensive LIGHT / Portable PA for a Petite Female.(not strong) lol Jazz/Blues Singer ...Very Good Voice also..... OK When I recieved The SAID P150......I Plugged it in ....QUIRKY NO! More like Burnt smell LOL....and the Empty encloser was Correct ...But The Loaded encloser was Blown also.....It also had ( 2) JBL GTO 602's installed . Which Im Guessing were NOT Factory? OK , so crossing your fingers doesnt always work . LOL.......... NOW , in order for me to attempt to complete my mission and bail out with what I have at Hand. I was thinking ???????? I will install 4 NEW Replacement speakers OEM or aftermarket????Cheaper the Better....I already TOOK the Burnt out AMP from Middle passport case ...I was entertaining the idea to purchase a Behringer EUROPOWER PMP518M Powered Mixer 180 Watt? and use that with the 2 Re-loaded Fender enclosers....Obviously Im trying to do this cheap as possible. It is going to be a Gift to the singer. But Im on a tight budget. Some of you probably would say .CUT your losses and buy a complete RUNNING Passport . And I agree BUT Im stuborn ! and 50$ invested and Kinda want to create a ( *Berhringer PORT !) . LOL . So I guess I need to know(ALL the SPECS?) of WHAT speakers came STOCK/OEM in the OLDER version Passport 150. Or a suggested CHEAPER? Replacement speaker Times (4).......and if the Berhinger PMP518M is a Close comperable Replacement AMP to use with the Re-loaded Fender Passport enclosers....WELL , thank you for listening and letting me in to ask These Questions.I Hope I didnt confuse everyone.LOL......... Hi Fran,

Sorry for the late reply. Please call or email consumer relations with your concerns. They should have replacement woofers for this unit that you can purchase. They may also be able to replace the burnt up power amp. I hope this helps and good luck!

The only help I can offer is to suggest I would be interested in buying your old PD 150 system for parts.

I had an accident with my system and need to replace one speaker enclosure and the four latches.

At least you might recover some portion of the $50's you paid for the system.

Anyone else have noted PD 150 parts available?

Cheers.

Dear Roundwheel,

Is your Passport still under warranty? Either way, I would contact consumer relations to see if they can help get you some new latches.

I contacted Consumer Relations via e-mail link on Fender website last week but, received no reply as of this writing. So, I thought I'd see if there were any parts available from others who may have had mishaps with their equipment rendering it suitable only for salvage. If you can bring Consumer Relations attention to my need, I would gladly consider purchase of parts directly from Fender.

Thanks.
