Hi,

Can you connect an external amp to give some effects to my electric guitar to the Passport 500? Will this create some problems?

If so, where is the best place to connect it? To the 1/4 instruments 1 through 6 or somewhere else.

Thanks,

Andrea

Hi Andrea,

This is actually the preferred way to connect a guitar to the Passport. Connect the line out of your amp to the input of the Passport, either use the mono channel from 1-6 or the stereo channels of 7-8. Make sure to connect the line outputs of your amp though. If it doesn't have a line output you could always mic the amp and connect the microphone to the mic inputs 1-6.
